Mains Frequency (AC) Remote Head Spark Testers

The ST-ACR Series Mains Frequency Spark Tester tests cable insulation for maximum diameters between 60 mm and 150mm with a voltage of 25-35 kV. The gauge head is a remote configuration with a HV bead tray enclosure (HV Bead tray supplied separately) located up to 6 meters from the HV transformer and control electronics. The Controller’s DSP processor enables the differentiation between bare patches and pin holes in the cable insulation. A wide range of outputs is available and full digital connectivity makes it easy to connect to manufacturing control systems. The ST-ACR Series conforms to UL1581, UL2556 and EN62230.
