InteliSENS® SLRM-i4

SPEED & LENGTH MEASUREMENT

The SLRM-i4 tracks very small speed and length product movements, forward and reverse, for hot and cold rolling applications.
Solid-state digital technology, with no moving parts, ensures rock-solid reliability.

The SLRM-i4 has accuracy better than ±0.05%. Testing of each SLM-i4 and SLRM-i4 includes temperature cycle tests before final QC testing. Each gauge has a unique UKAS calibration certificate. The SLRM-i4 connects easily to all standard control systems for fast commissioning and easy integration. The SLRM-i4 is bi-directional, with ‘zero speed’ capability and automatic direction detection.

6x pulse outputs
5 Vdc output or custom supply up to 25 Vdc. Max 1 MHz. Configurable to 6x single-end pulse outputs; 1x differential quadrature output; 3x single-end quadrature outputs; 3x differential outputs. Opto-isolated when using PSU-BOB or BT100.

5x logic inputs
3 Programmable Inputs: Zero Length, Speed Pause, Length Pause, Forward-Reverse. 2 Fixed inputs: Laser enable and Shutter enable. Max. input voltage: 30 Vdc.

3x logic outputs
Configurable to: Gauge OK; Gauge too hot; Good reading; Object detected; Preset length 1 / Batch length reached; Preset length 2 / Batch length reached; Gauge measuring speed.
