Non-Contact Diameter Gauges

The Proton Products InteliSENS DG and DGK i4 gauges measure diameter and much more. Each gauge offers all the connectivity needed to interface with PLCs, PCs, SCADA systems, and Industry 4.0 data communications. All connectivity is built directly into the gauge head—just select the desired protocol and connect. These non-contact, ultra-fast diameter gauges measure hoses, pipes, tubes, wires, cables, fiber optics, and many other products at incredible speeds, up to 10,000 measurements per axis per second.

The InteliSENS DG gauges use high-speed laser optical scanning, while the DGK range combines CCD technology and optics for ultra-fast measurment rates with no moving parts. In addition to diameter measurement, data is collected and processed quickly enough to provide SMFD (Single Measurement Flaw Detection), also known as Lump and Neck Detection. The powerful FPGA chip in DGK gauges also enables FFT Analysis, SPC Analysis, and PID Feedback Diameter Control directly from the gauge.
